Cortina d'Ampezzo

OK, not Rome, but a bit North.  Cortina D'Ampezzo  is a town in the southern Alps and the province of Belluno, Veneto, northern Italy. Located in the heart of the Dolomites in an alpine valley, it is a popular winter sport resort known for its ski-ranges, scenery, accommodations, shops and après-ski scene. Much of 1963 classic The Pink Panther, the progenitor of the series, was filmed in Cortina. The sequence in the video starred Fran Jeffries, dancing to a tune before the cast of The Pink Panther.

Meglio Stasera (It Had Better Be Tonight) is the theme song (music by Henry Mancini, Italian lyrics by Franco Migliacci) composed for the 1963 film The Pink Panther. The song is a candombe, a genre of popular dance music from Montevideo, Uruguay.
