Trajan's Market (at the upper left quadrant of the Roman Forum of the map shown below the picture) overlooked the forum. 150 booths distributed free grain on the entrance level. Wine, oils, fruit, vegetables and other commodities were sold on the upper levels. Via Biberatica had taverns on the 3rdlevel. In the background is the Torre delle Mlizie, on the slopes of Quirinal Hill
